Chamomile is an annual plant with a branched stem that can grow from 10 to 60 cm in height. The plant has a characteristic fragrance and it grows in lots of places. You can find it along roadsides, cultivated fields, embankments, yards, and near houses, as well as in meadows and forest edges. It is native to Europe, Asia Minor, Iran, India, and Japan. It was later introduced to Australia and North America.
