Sambucus ebulus L.

Sambucus ebulus, or known as “European dwarf elder,” is a perennial herbaceous plant that can grow up to 2 meters tall. In June, it forms white or reddish flowers with an unpleasant odor. This plant is toxic and should not be confused with Sambucus nigra, which is used in folk medicine as tea or in the food industry for the production of juices, etc.
